How To Backup iPhone/iPad Data On iCloud Using iTunes

The easiest way to backup the data is to use the iCloud service, which gives you 5 GB of free storage space. However, if you run out of this space you will be required to pay for the additional space.
 
To Backup iPhone/iPad data on iCloud follow the steps below:

• Download and Install the Latest Version of iTunes to your Windows/Mac system.
• Open iTunes and Connect your iPhone/ iPad to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
• As soon as you plug in, you will be prompted to Trust or Do Not Trust option on your iPhone/iPad. Simply, tap on Trust.

 

• Now, click on the Phone icon which appears in your iTunes window.

 

• Select the Summary tab in the sidebar Menu, to see the details of your iPhone/iPad and backup options.

 

• Select the option iCloud and click on the Back Up Now option to proceed to the Backup process.

 

• By default, the iTunes backup will not include your account passwords, the Wi-Fi settings or your Health and HomeKit data. If you wish to backup these contents, you can make an encrypted iTunes backup. In the Backups section, checkmark the Encrypt iPhone Backup option and set a password when promoted.

 

 

• After completing the Backup process, you should be able to see the Latest Backup of your iPhone/iPad with a timestamp of the backup.
