Prevent the deletion of existing printers (For All Users).

This setting prevents deletion of existing local and network printers.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
This setting prevents you from deleting a printer configured either on your system or at a network place. When you double-click “Printers and Faxes” in Control Panel, all the printers configured in your account are displayed. You can delete a printer, by using option to delete from the left panel or “File” menu or the option available at right-clicking the printer icon.

Important:
In Windows 98,Me and 2000, the icon is named “Printers”.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value “NoDeletePrinter”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can prevent deletion of printers. However, if you want to enable back the deletion option, change the value to “0”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
