Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.
"My Computer" text on desktop is replaced by currently logged in user name and computer name.
"My Computer" Text is not changed.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\] key, right-click on the "Default" String value and click on "Delete".
Third, go to the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\] key, right-click on the "LocalizedString" String value and click on "Rename" to change the name to "LocalizedString-default".
Fourth, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit32".
Fifth, go to the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\] key, click on the "File" menu and click on "Add Value".
Sixth, enter the value "LocalizedString" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
Finally, enter the value "%USERNAME% on %COMPUTERNAME%" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
