Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.
A customized image is shown when the "Active Desktop" is disabled after the changes.
A default image is shown when the "Active Desktop" is disabled.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\SafeMode\General\] key, right-click on the "Wallpaper" Expandable String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter complete path of the new file in the text box and click on 'OK'.
