Default icon size for programs displayed on the Start menu are visible.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.
Next, go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\] and create a DWORD value as 'Start_LargeMFUIcons'.
Now, right click on th DWORD value 'Start_LargeMFUIcons' and select 'Modify'.
Finally set the value data as '0' to make the icons displayed in the Start menu small and click 'OK'.
