“Run as administrator” feature for executable files and shortcuts.

The “Run as administrator” command gives administrator’s privileges to execute programs and shortcuts to the Standard user.

Description:

The “Run as administrator” feature allows the presently logged in Standard user (user account through which the administrator logs in by default) to run a program with administrator privileges. For example, you can use the “Run as administrator” feature to start a program as an administrator if you want to perform administrative tasks when you are logged in as a member of Administrator group. To use the “Run as administrator” feature right-click an executable file, shortcut, MMC console, or Control Panel tool.
