Enable Auto-Open Explorer Windows (persist browser) during the next Startup.

If one or more Explorer windows are opened in your Windows session and you shut down or reboot your computer without closing them, Windows can open them again during the next Startup. This tweak permit you to enable this setting(or disable it if is already enabled).

Description:

If one or more Explorer Windows are opened in your windows session and you shut down or reboot your computer without closing them, Windows will open them during the next Startup.

This tweak permit you to enable this setting(or disable it if is already enabled).

If you like to continue your work on the next Startup of your OS, this feature can be very useful, because you don’t have to open those windows again.

For this go to "Start->Run" and enter "regedit" and search the keys listed below. You can create one DWORD value "PersistBrowsers", if this value is not existing.

Now, right-click and modify the value to "1" for enabling the opening of your Explorer windows during the Startup. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to "0".

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\] key, right-click on the "PersistBrowsers" DWORD value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
