Change the default font of Windows interface.

This setting enables you to change the default font of Windows interface.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000

Description:

Microsoft uses the default font “MS Sans Serif” with graphical user interface of Windows. Through this setting you can change the default font used with the one desired to give a new look to your computer.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the String value “MS Shell Dlg”, in the right panel, with the name of the font face desired.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

The default font of Windows interface is displayed.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes\] key, right-click on the "MS Shell Dlg" String value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the font face name you want and click on 'OK'.
