Only Truetype fonts are enabled in Windows-based programs.
All fonts types including Truetype fonts are enabled in Windows-based programs by default.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\TrueType\] key, right-click on the "TTonly" String value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
