Enable only truetype fonts in Windows-based programs

This setting enables only TrueType Fonts in a Windows-based programs.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000

Description:

Only TrueType fonts are to be used in Windows based programs.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey “\CurrentVersion\TrueType” is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create an string value name “TTonly”,if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box with “1” to enable the setting and “0” to disable it. Click “OK” and close the registry editor.
Restart your system.

Only Truetype fonts are enabled in Windows-based programs.

All fonts types including Truetype fonts are enabled in Windows-based programs by default.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\TrueType\] key, right-click on the "TTonly" String value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
