Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.
'My Network Places' icon is removed from the Desktop.
'My Network Places' icon is visible by default on the Desktop.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\] and create a new 'DWORD value' as "NoNetHood".
Right Click on "NoNetHood" and select 'Modify'.
Finally, set the value data as "1" and click 'OK'.
