Disable pinned programs from new Start menu.

This setting disables all pinned programs from the new Start menu.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista
When a program is right-clicked and "Pin to Start menu" option is selected from the context menu, it is added to the pinned programs list. A pinned program is displayed in the new start menu for quick access to the program. This setting can remove the pinned programs list from the new Start menu.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value “NoStartMenuPinnedList”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value data to “1” which can disable pinned programs. However, if you want to show the programs back, change the value to “0” or delete the “NoStartMenuPinnedList” value.
