Hide the items in All Programs of simple Start menu (For All Users).

By using this tweak you are able to hide the items under All Programs in the simple Start menu.

Description:

By using this tweak you are able to hide the items under All Programs in the simple Start menu.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. If the subkey “\Explorer” does not exist, create it as explained below. Then, create a DWORD value “NoStartMenuMorePrograms”, in the right panel.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” for hiding items in All Programs option from the Start menu. However, if you want to get back to the original state and show this item, change the value to “0”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

‘All Programs’ list is hidden from the simple Start menu.

‘All Programs’ list is visible by default in the simple Start menu.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\], key and create a new key with the name "Explorer" under "Policies".

Now, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoStartMenuMorePrograms" in "Explorer" key.

Next, right-click on "NoStartMenuMorePrograms" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
