Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.
The "Add a Printer" option is removed from the left pane and the right-click menu and is also restricted from the "File" menu after the changes have been made in the registry.
The "Add a Printer" option is visible in the left pane and is there in the right-click menu and is also allowed in the "File" menu.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\] key, right-click and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "Explorer".
Third, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "NoAddPrinter".
Fourth, right-click on the 'NoAddPrinter' DWORD value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
