Cascading “My Recent Documents” items inside the new Start menu is disabled.
Cascading “My Recent Documents” items inside the new Start menu is enabled.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\] and create a new 'DWORD value' as "Start_ShowRecentDocs".
Right Click on "Start_ShowRecentDocs" and select 'Modify'.
Finally, set the value data as "1" and click 'OK'.
