The "Favorites" folder is removed from the 'Start' menu.
The "Favorites" folder is visible in the 'Start' menu.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\] key and right-click in the open area to create a new DWORD value "NoFavoritesMenu".
Third, right-click on the "NoFavoritesMenu" DWORD Value and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
