If you want to have quick access to your “Favorites” list in Internet Explorer, simply click on the “View Channel Link” icon. This icon can be added to the Quick Launch Bar (next to the Start button) on the Taskbar, using this setting.
For this, go to Start > Run, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, double-click on the string value “AppData” to copy the contents of the Value Data field from the dialog.
In the second step, open your Windows Explorer and paste the “Application Data” folder path in the address bar. Subsequently, browse through “Microsoft > Internet Explorer > Quick Launch” folders and here, from the “File” menu choose “New > Text Document”.
Now, copy and paste the following code in the added document file:

Save the document file as “View Channel Link.SCF” (without double-quotes).
Refresh view of your computer for the changes to take effect.
NOTE:For Windows 2000 and advanced users, access to “Quick Launch” folder is a simple process. Simply type the path “%Appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch” in Start > Run and press Enter.
