Disable toolbar selection on Taskbar (For Current User).

This setting can hide “Toolbars” option on Taskbar. It prevents users from messing with toolbars by changing their selections regularly.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista
On right-clicking the Taskbar, there’s an item “Toolbars” which lists different toolbars that can be added to the Taskbar. These toolbars can be activated/deactivated by applying/removing the tick marks on the menu item.

This setting hides the “Toolbars” option from the context menu. That is, it prevents users from changing the tick marks that cause the Quick Launch Bar, Address Bar and Links on your Taskbar to either show or hide. For example, you can not make the Address Bar disappear or reappear

This setting is useful in a kiosk, library, or public outlets where you don't want users to change toolbars selection on Taskbar.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter "regedit" and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value "NoToolbarsOnTaskbar", if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to "1" which can disable the ability to show toolbars on the taskbar. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to "0" or delete the added value.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
