Enabling additional time zones/clocks.

Windows Vista now has the option of displaying the time for up to three time zones. This tweak can help you show additional clocks with different time zones.

Tweak for : Windows Vista

Description:

At times you do have to keep a track of the time in different time zones. For this you usually search the Internet, use alternate software, or guess the time at different part of the world. Windows Vista now has the option of displaying the time for up to three time zones. Each time zone can be given a name and once configured will display when your cursor hovers above the time on the taskbar.

The steps necessary to set multiple time zones are given below:

1. Single click on the time displayed in the system tray of your taskbar.
2. At the bottom of date and time screen click the option “Change the date and time settings”.
3. The “Date and Time” dialog box opens up, wherein select the “Additional Time” tab.
4. Here, check the box “Show this clock” to add up to two additional clocks. Then, select the desired time zone and name it accordingly.
5. Finally, click “Apply” and then “OK”.

You can view the added clocks by clicking on or hovering mouse over the taskbar clock.
