Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.
All the inactive icons arer hidden from the Notification area.
All the icons which are inactive are also visible in the Notification area by default.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer \],right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "EnableAutoTray" in "Explorer" key.
Next, right-click on "EnableAutoTray" and click on 'Modify'.
Finally, enter the value "1" (Base Hexadecimal) without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
