Add option “Move To Folder” in the context menu of a file or folder.

This setting enables you to add “Move To Folder” option in the context menu of a file or folder.

Description:

Context menu is a very useful tool to make your working quite easy. You have many choices for working on a file or folder. This tweak can make you add an additional option “Move To Folder” in the context menu list.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Then, create a new key “Move To” under “ContextMenuHandlers” sub key. Now, right-click and modify the value data of “Default” string value to “{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}” which can add the option in context menu.

However, if you want to remove the newly added option, delete the subkey “Move To”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

The "Move To Folder" option is visible in the context-menu.

The "Move To Folder" option is not visible in the context-menu.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\] key, right-click and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "Move To".

Third, right-click on the "Default" String value and click on "Modify".

Fourth, enter the value "C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
