Add option “Send To” in the context menu of a file or folder.

This setting enables you to add “Send To” option in the context menu of a file or folder.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000

Description:

Context menu is a very useful tool to make your working quite easy. You have many choices for working on a file or folder. This tweak can make you add an additional option “Send To” in the context menu list.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Then, create a new key “Send To” under “ContextMenuHandlers” sub key. Now, right-click and modify the value data of “Default” string value to “{7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837}” which can add the option in context menu.

However, if you want to remove the newly added option, delete the subkey “Send To”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

The "Send To" option is visible in the context menu.

The "Send To" option is not visible.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\] key, right-click and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "Send To".

Third, right-click on the "Default" String value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
