Hide Recycle Bin Properties option (For All Users).

This setting can hide the Properties option from context menu of Recycle Bin.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista

Description:

Normally, right-click on Recycle Bin icon displays a menu with Properties option. but you can hide it with this setting.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value “NoPropertiesRecycleBin”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can hide Properties option. However, if you want to get the option back, delete the value name “NoPropertiesRecycleBin”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

'Properties' option in 'Recycle Bin' menu is visible.

'Properties' option from the 'Recycle Bin' menu is hidden by default.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Policies\], key and create a new key with the name "Explorer" under "Policies".

Now, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoPropertiesRecycleBin" in "Explorer" key.

Next, right-click on "NoPropertiesRecycleBin" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
