Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
Your Internet Explorer browser lets you expand its window size to full screen. In the “Full Screen” mode, the browser expands the size of the window to show more information of a webpage on a single screen. The “F11” keystroke or “Full Screen” option in “View” menu can change the window size. To disable “Full Screen” operation, use this registry setting.

Important:
Even if you enable the “Full Screen” mode, all the open Internet Explorer windows will not show the effect.

For this, go to Start > Run, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value “NoTheaterMode” at HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry paths, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can disable the “Full Screen” mode in Internet Explorer. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to “0”.

Restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.

NOTE:
This feature works on Internet Explorer version 5 and above.
