This setting is used to disable download completion notification in Internet Explorer.

Description:

This setting is used to disable download completion notification in Internet Explorer.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the String value “NotifyDownloadComplete”, in the right panel, to “no” which can disable download completion notification. However, if you want to enable the feature back, change the value data to “yes”.

Restart Internet Explorer for the change to take effect.

Download completion notification in Internet Explorer is enabled by default.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\] , right-click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "NotifyDownloadComplete" in "Main" key.

Next, right-click on "NotifyDownloadComplete" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value User "No" without quotation in the text box and click on 'OK'. Once you are done. Exit from registry. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.
