Disable font changes in Internet Explorer and text documents.

This setting disables you to make changes in fonts displayed on Web pages and text documents. that do not have a specified text font.

This setting disables you to make changes in fonts displayed on Web pages and documents that do not have a specified text font. The “Fonts” button in the “General” tab of Internet Options lets you to set the font style. By default, the Web page font selected is Times New Roman.

This registry setting can disable the Font options which helps in giving a new look to the Web pages.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the sub keys “Internet Explorer\Control Panel” is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a DWORD value “Fonts”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can disable fonts option. However, if you want to show the option back, change the value to “0”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

"Fonts" changing is disabled.

Option to change "Fonts" is enabled by default.

First, click the Start button, and select Run. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit"

Second, go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] and create a new key "Internet Explorer."

Third, create a subkey "Control Panel" under "Internet Explorer".

Fourth, create a DWORD value "Fonts".

Now,right-click on "Fonts" and select 'Modify'

Finally, set the 'Value Data' to “1”in the textbox provided and click on 'OK'.

Disable color changes in Internet Explorer.
