Disable script debugging in Internet Explorer.

This tweak lets you control the use of the Internet Explorer script debugging functions.

Description:

When Internet Explorer detects an error on a page, it displays a window asking whether you want to debug. It has the ability to launch a script debugger to diagnose the problem. This registry patch disables Internet Explorer from displaying the script debugging information. Unless you are debugging your own script, it gives headache.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the String value “Disable Script Debugger”, in the right panel, to “yes” which can disable script debugging. However, if you want to enable the feature back, change the value data to “no”.

Restart Internet Explorer to see the changes taking effect.

Interner Explorer Script Debugger is disabled.

Internet Explorer Script Debugger is enabled by default.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.

Now, go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\] and right-click on String value 'Disable Script Debugger' and select 'Modify'.

Finally, set the value data as 'Yes' and click 'OK'.
