Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.
Status Bar in Windows Explorer is enabled.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.
Second, go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\] and create a DWORD value 'StatusBarOther'.
Now, right click on the DWORD value 'StatusBarOther' and select 'Modify'.
Set the value data as '1' to enable Status bar in Windows Explorer and click 'OK'.
Create another DWORD value 'StatusBarWeb' under the key 'Main'.
Next, right click on the DWORD value 'StatusBarWeb' and select 'Modify'.
Finally, set the value data as '1' to enable Status bar in Internet Explorer and click 'OK'.
