Hide the Internet Explorer Help menu item “Send Feedback”.

This setting enables you to hide the Internet Explorer’s Help menu item “Send Feedback”.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
If you like to send Microsoft some Feedback about some problem like system crash or finding some problem in file downloading, you can go to “Help > Send Feedback” in Internet Explorer. Through this setting you can also hide this menu item “Send Feedback”.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry path listed below. If any of the subkeys “Internet Explorer\Restrictions” is not present, create it as explained below. Then, create a DWORD value “NoHelpItemSendFeedback”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can hide the feedback option. However, if you want to show the option back, change the value to “0”.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

The '.reg' file can show the "Send Feedback" option in Internet Explorer.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

'Send Feedback' option is hidden in the 'Help' menu.

'Send Feedback' option is visible by default in the 'Help' menu.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\] key and create a new key with the name "Internet Explorer" under "Microsoft".

Then, create a "Restrictions" key under "Internet Explorer".

Now, right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name "NoHelpItemSendFeedback" in "Restrictions" key.

Next, right-click on "NoHelpItemSendFeedback" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
