Make Favorites to use IntelliMenus.

Internet Explorer has a feature that automatically hides site that are rarely visited from the Favorites menu. But a click on the arrow shows all the items in the menu. This setting allows you to enable IntelliMenu feature with Favorites.

Description:

Windows uses IntelliMenus to hide shortcuts to URLs or folders in Favorites that aren’t visited regularly. It is useful if you have bookmarked a large number of websites. IntelliMenu shortens the length of menu by adding an arrow at the bottom. Complete menu items can be displayed by expanding the menu.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a String value “FavIntelliMenus” in the right panel, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify its value to “yes” which can use IntelliMenu with Favorites. However, if you want to show all the items back, change the value data to “no” or delete the added value.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

IntelliMenu feature used with Favorites in Internet Explorer.

All items displayed in Favorites menu.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\], right-click in the open area to create a String Value with the name "FavIntelliMenus" in "Main" key.

Next, right-click on "FavIntelliMenus" and click on 'Modify'.

Finally, enter the value "yes" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
