Position Internet Explorer to default location.

This tweak makes sure your browser window opens at the default position.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista

Description:

When you are surfing Internet with multiple instances of Internet Explorer or other applications, you may need to displace the Internet Explorer window or minimize it to access other windows. The next time you open the window, it opens up at new location. To reset Internet Explorer to the default position, use this registry setting.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click on the Binary value “Window_Placement”, in the right panel and delete it.

Restart Internet Explorer for the cahnges to take effect.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\] key, right-click on the "Window_Placement" Binary value and click on "Delete".
