Define the default location of your PowerPoint Folder of Microsoft Office 2000.

This setting enables you to define the default location of your PowerPoint Folder for Microsoft Office.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
This setting enables you to define the default location of your PowerPoint Folder for Microsoft Office.

Before you go throught this setting please close all Microsoft Office programs.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. If any of the subkeys “RecentFolderList” is not present, create it as explained below. Then, edit the string value “Default”.

Now, right-click and modify the value to your preferred folder (for example like “C:\Microsoft Office\ PowerPoint Files Folder”) which can define default Location of PowerPoint Folder of Microsoft Office.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\PowerPoint\] key, right-click and click on "New > Key" to create a new key with the name "RecentFolderList".

Third, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > String Value" to create a new String value with the name "Default".

Fourth, right-click on the 'Default' String value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the user-defined path in the text box and click on 'OK'.
