Delete recent file list of Microsoft PowerPoint

This setting enables you to delete the recently used file list for Microsoft PowerPoint (Office XP).

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
This setting enables you to delete the recently used file list for Microsoft PowerPoint (Office XP).

If you use this setting, you can prevent that someone will read your recently opened files.

In this key you will find string values "fileN" and they represents your recently file list. The N stands for a positive integer number.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can delete string values “fileN”, if these values do not exist.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

Recent file list of 'Microsoft PowerPoint' is removed.

Recent file list of Microsoft PowerPoint is visible by default.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0 \PowerPoint\Recent File List\], in the open area right-click on "CalDays" and click on 'Delete'.Once you are done. After a restart or logoff, the changes take effect.

Set Four Digit Year in Microsoft Excel 2000
