‘My Computer’ icon is removed from the places bar in MS Office 2003.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.
Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common\Open Find\Places\StandardPlaces\MyComputer\],right-click in the open area to create a DWORD Value with the name 'Show' in 'Favorites' key.
Now, right click on the DWORD value 'Show' and select 'Modify'.
Finally set the value data as '0' to hide 'My Computer' from the Places Bar in MS Office 2003.
