Minimize address bar in Microsoft Outlook

This setting enables you to minimize the address bar below the toolbar of Microsoft Outlook to the right.

Tweak for : Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
This setting enables you to minimize the address bar below the toolbar of Microsoft Outlook to the right.

The address bar in Microsoft Outlook is a little bit annoying, because this bar is using much space of toolbar that can be used by other tools. If you drag the address bar to the right, you will have a minimized address bar, but if you exit Outlook and start it again, the address bar will be maximized again.

If you use this setting, the address bar will stay in the state you left it, so if you left it minimized, it will be minimized with the next start of Outlook.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. You can create a DWORD value “AddressBarWidth”, if this value does not exist.

Now, right-click and modify the value to “1” which can minimize the address bar below the toolbar. However, if you want to get back to the original state, change the value to “0”.

Note:
You can use this setting, if you don't use Microsoft Outlook has a browser very often.
