Change default font for Notepad.

This setting can let you to change the default Font Face used with Notepad application.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista

Description:

This setting can let you to change the default Font Face used with Notepad application. The text that you type on the Notepad application will take the new Font Face.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, right-click and modify the String value “lfFaceName” with the desired font style like Tahoma.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type 'regedit'.

Now, go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad\] and right click on the String value 'lfFaceName' and select 'Modify'.

Finally set a user defined value data to change default font for Notepad and click 'OK'.
