The default text appears as "Strikethrough" in "Notepad" after the changes have been made in the registry.
The default text appears normal in "Notepad".
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad] key, right-click in the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "lfStrikeOut".
Third, right-click on the 'lfStrikeOut' DWORD value and click on "Modify".
Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
