Bypass the Recycle Bin when deleting files and folders

This tweak deletes files and folders permanently as they just bypass Recycle Bin completely.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista
The Recycle Bin saves all the files or folders, which have been removed by the user after using them. So, it gets piled up. These files and folders can also be restored back, if required at later stage. Sooner or later, it must also be cleared otherwise space problem will added.

This setting just bypasses Recycle Bin. Therefore, it remains clear always and the files, even if required very urgently later, can not be restored back.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a DWORD value name “NoRecycleFiles”, if this value does not exist. Now, right-click and modify the value data box with “1” to enable the setting.

Click “OK” and close the registry editor.

After logoff or system restart, changes take effect.

Bypass Recycle Bin when deleting files and Folders.reg

The ".reg" file can bypass the Recycle Bin while deleting files and Folders.

Dont bypass Recycle Bin when deleting files and Folders default.reg

The ".reg" file does not allow to bypass the Recycle Bin while deleting files and Folders.

Apply registry settings according below given steps of screenshots with related changes.

First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".

Second, go to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\] key, right-click on the blank area in the right pane and click on "New > DWORD Value" to create a new DWORD value with the name "NoRecycleFiles".

Third, right-click on the 'NoRecycleFiles' DWORD value and click on "Modify".

Finally, enter the value "1" in the text box and click on 'OK'.
