Updation of last Accessed attribute is disabled.
Updation of last Accessed attribute is enabled by default.
First, click the 'Start' button, and select 'Run'. In the resulting dialog box, type "regedit".
Next, go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\] and create a new DWORD value 'NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate'.
Now right click on the DWORD value 'NtfsDisableLastAccessUpdate' and select 'Modify'.
Finally keep the value data as '1' and click 'OK'.
