Prevent execution of blocked programs.

This tweak prevent you from running blocked programs, documents or other files.

Tweak for : Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2000, Windows Vista
This tweak prevents you from running blocked programs, documents or other files, which have been started from Windows Explorer process but you can not stop the user from running an application, which has been started from system process. Even a renamed application can not be stopped from running in Windows.

For this, go to Start > Run menu, enter “regedit” and navigate to the registry path listed below. Now, create a DWORD value name “DisallowRun” in the right panel, if this value does not exist. Right-click this value name and modify the value data with “1”.

Then, create a new subkey “DisallowRun” under “Explorer”. Further, create new string values in the subkey by assigning consecutive numbers to name the string values - starting with "1" - and the name of executable file for the program as the data for the string value.

The changes take effect after a restart or logoff.
